SLOW-COOKER PIZZA DIP
I created this dip for my daughter's pizza themed birthday party. It was an instant hit and I've continued to bring this along to other gatherings. Everyone loves it! -Stephanie Gates, Waterloo, Iowa

Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook and crumble beef and sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, 5-7 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer meat to a 3-qt. slow cooker. Stir in all remaining ingredients except garlic bread., Cook, covered, on low 2-3 hours or until heated through. Serve with garlic bread. Freeze option: Freeze cooled dip in freezer containers. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan, stirring occasionally.

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray a 9-inch pie pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Spread cream cheese on the bottom of the pie pan. Pour pizza sauce over the cream cheese, and spread it so that there is an even layer of sauce. Sprinkle with pepperoni, onion, and olives. Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes.

- In 10-inch skillet, cook sausage and onion over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Stir in pepperoni, ketchup and pizza sauce.
- Spray 1 1/2- to 3-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Spoon sausage mixture into slow cooker. Stir in cheese.
- Cover; cook on Low setting 2 to 3 hours.
- Stir dip before serving. Serve with bread slices.

Note: This recipe was tested in slow cookers with heating elements in the side and bottom of the cooker, not in cookers that stand only on a heated base.
