Crusted Cinnamon Walnuts image

Walnuts baked until crusted with cinnamon glaze. Cool and serve as a snack or in salads. Soak pan or wash immediately for easily clean-up.

1 egg white
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon salt
4 cups walnut halves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees F (95 degrees C). Prepare a jelly roll pan with cooking spray.
  • Beat egg white and sugar together in a large bowl.
  • Mix cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt together in a small bowl; stir into the egg mixture. Fold walnuts into the mixture to coat; spread onto prepared jelly roll pan.
  • Bake in preheated oven until the coating on the nuts is crusty, about 1 hour 15 minutes. Cool nuts 5 minutes before serving.

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground coriander
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/8 teaspoon pepper
4 cups walnut halves
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the first seven ingredients; set aside. , In a large bowl, combine the walnuts, oil and vanilla. Add sugar mixture; toss to coat., Transfer to a 15x10x1-in. foil-lined baking pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool completely. Store in an airtight container.

Number Of Ingredients 7

¾ cup Xylitol/Erythritol (preferably powdered but not a must)
½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
¼ tsp Salt (pink salt or sea-salt)
1 Egg White
½ tbsp Instant Coffee (Nescafe). Use a spoon or other tools to make them powdered
2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
4 cups Walnuts Halves

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 160°C
  • In a medium bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, salt, cocoa and powdered Nescafe. mix well and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat egg white until fluffy. Fold nuts into the eggs and toss until evenly coated.
  • Sprinkle nuts with sugar mixture and mix until evenly coated. Spread on baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they're dry to the touch.
  • Remove from oven, loosen walnuts from baking sheet, and let cool (you can put them in the refrigerator to make things faster).

1 cup walnuts
3/4 cup grated sweetened coconut
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (or more)

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 300.
  • Mix oats, walnuts and coconut together in a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix brown sugar, honey, canola oil, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle liquid mixture over the dry ingredients.
  • Spread over a large baking pan.
  • Bake 30-35 minutes, stirring every 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
