This is a great recipe if you on the go! It's an easy microwave snack that uses the ingredients found in most pantries. This can even be made with low fat peanut butter. Not only healthy but it taste great!!

Steps:
- Combine brown sugar, honey, and peanut butter in a microwave-safe glass or ceramic bowl. Melt the peanut butter mixture microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each melting, for 1 to 2 minutes (depending on your microwave). Stir in cereal and raisins.
- Press cereal mixture into an 8 inch square pan sprayed with non-stick spray. Cool and cut into bars.

One of Grandma Dorothy's much sought after recipes. These oatmeal cookies are wonderfully chewy and are made with oil instead of butter or margarine so they appeal to the heath conscious. One is never enough!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
- In a large bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, white sugar, brown sugar, oats and coconut. Make a well in the center and pour in the oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix well using your hands or a wooden spoon. Roll the dough into walnut sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets. Flatten slightly with a fork.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, cookies should be a very light brown and chewy - not crisp. Cool for a couple of minutes on the baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

- Mix together the butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light.
- Sift the flour with the soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture until well blended.
- Lightly mix in the shredded wheat and peanuts.
- Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of batter, about 2 inches apart, on ungreased cookie sheets. (This makes rather ragged cookies, so I like to roll them into balls first, but little pieces of shredded wheat DO stab a bit!) Using the tines of a fork, press dough flat in each direction to make a crisscross pattern on top of each cookie.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Makes about 8 dozen cookies.

- Put a large pot of water on to boil for cooking pasta.
- Meanwhile, place chicken in a skillet or saucepan and add enough water to cover; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer gently until cooked through and no longer pink in the middle, 10 to 12 minutes. Transfer the chicken to a cutting board. When cool enough to handle, shred into bite-size strips.
- Whisk peanut butter, soy sauce, garlic, chile-garlic sauce and ginger in a large bowl.
- Cook pasta in the boiling water until not quite tender, about 1 minute less than specified in the package directions.
