1½ tsp Four Sigmatic Mushroom Matcha Mix
3 Tbsp hot water
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 cup canned coconut milk (unsweetened (or milk of choice))

Steps:

  • Add matcha powder to hot water and whisk vigorously until dissolved and frothy. Stir in maple syrup and whisk well.
  • Heat coconut milk over the stove and add matcha mixture, whisking to integrate. (Feel free to use a frother if desired.)
  • Serve and enjoy!

3/4 cup boiling water
cinnamon (for dusting, optional)

Steps:

  • In a mini blender, combine all the ingredients
  • Blend until smooth and matcha powder is dissolved
  • If you have a milk frother, add some additional coconut milk to the frother and top the mug with the froth.
  • Dust with cinnamon if using.

1/2 cup non-dairy milk
1 teaspoon matcha powder*
3/4 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon liquid sweetener, or to taste

Steps:

  • Start by warming up the 1/2 cup of non-dairy milk in a saucepan or a microwave safe container.
  • While the milk is warming up, add in 1 teaspoon of matcha powder and 1 tablespoon of your boiling water into a mug. Then use a milk frother or a matcha brush to turn the powder and water into a smooth paste.
  • Once your matcha powder is smooth, add in the remaining boiling water and optional sweetener and froth again until fully incorporated.
  • Once your milk is hot, again use your milk frother to froth the milk until foamy, being careful not to splash hot milk on yourself. Pour the foamy milk on top of the matcha tea.
  • Drink immediately while hot, or allow to cool in the fridge, then enjoy with some ice for an Iced Matcha Latte.

1 1/2 cup water
1/4 cup coconut milk (or any other non-dairy milk of your choice)
1 tsp matcha powder
1 scoop grass fed collagen (Use code GREATGRANDMA10 for 10% off)
Optional: 1-3 tsp MCT oil (Use code GREATGRANDMA10 for 10% off)
Immersion blender

Steps:

  • Using a stovetop or an electric kettle, heat water to a boil.
  • Let the steam escape from the water for about 1-2 minutes, so it's hot but not boiling.
  • In a mug that's big enough to fit the head of the immersion blender, add coconut milk, matcha, collagen, and MCT, if using.
  • Fill the mug a little less than halfway with hot water.
  • Lower the immersion blender and start blending. Blend for about 1 minute until the matcha is dissolved and foamy.
  • Fill the rest of the mug with hot water.
  • Stir and enjoy!

How to Make a Delicious, Healthy, and Dairy-Free Matcha Latte image

This delicious, healthy, and dairy-free matcha latte can also be made vegan. This recipe makes one serving. For more servings, add mugs and simply multiply the ingredients.

Number Of Ingredients 4

1 Teaspoon Matcha Tea Powder
Small Amount of Distilled Water (just enough to make a paste with the matcha tea powder)
Fill Mug 3/4 Full of Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk (can use non-organic)
1 Teaspoon Organic Raw Honey (Can use non-organic. To make this drink vegan, substitute your favorite healthy vegan natural sweetener.)

Steps:

  • Fill the mug 3/4 cup full of soy milk. If you're making more than one mug, fill each mug 3/4 full. Microwave or heat up until warm (not boiling or too hot as it can make the matcha taste bitter).
  • Pour into the blender and add honey (or preferred healthy vegan sweetener) for however many servings you are making. Blend on high until as frothy how you like it. For more foam, blend faster and longer.
  • Make a matcha paste in the mug or mugs by pouring in matcha green tea powder and then adding enough water and using the whisk to make a paste. Check that all the matcha powder is mixed in by tilting the mug to see the bottom of the mug.
  • Pour blended soy milk and honey into each mug. If you're serving more than one mug, leave enough room at the top of each mug to pour foam from the bottom of the blender into each mug at the end.
  • If you pour the blended soy milk and honey mixture into the mugs right after the matcha is whisked, it will naturally mix together.

3 cups water
1 cup blanched almond
4 cardamom pods
1/4 teaspoon peppercorn
1/2 cinnamon stick
6 whole cloves
1/4 inch fresh ginger, peeled slice
1/3 teaspoon fennel seed
2 teaspoons green tea powder (Must be matcha but F. didn't recognise, I use Matcha Superior from Teaopia)
1 1/2 teaspoons alcohol free vanilla (I buy ours from the health food shop)
1/8 cup local raw honey, to taste

Steps:

  • Blend water and almonds until very smooth.
  • Strain through a fine sieve.
  • Bring almond milk and spices to a boil.
  • Boil for 5 minutes with the lid off, then simmer for 10 minutes covered.
  • Strain into a blender (I use glass). Let the mixture cool down for a few minutes, then add the matcha powder & vanilla and blend. Add raw honey to taste. I probably use more than an 1/8 cup but do it to taste.
  • Enjoy hot or cold. (I prefer it hot though).
