Deauville Cocktail drink recipe image

This old school cocktail features brandy and applejack. It's strong but sweet, with some tanginess from a lemon juice.

3/4 ounce brandy
3/4 ounce applejack or calvados
3/4 ounce triple sec
3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Pour in all ingredients.
  • Shake until chilled.
  • Strain into a cocktail glass.
  • No garnish is called for in the recipe, but a bit of lemon rind adds some visual appeal (see photo).
