1 lb hamburger meat
2 cups large macaroni (uncooked)
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
1 dash garlic powder
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cheese

Steps:

Fry hamburger, onion, and green pepper.
cook macaroni per package directions.
mix everything together in large casserole dish and top with sliced cheese.
Bake 350 til cheese melts.

Yet another version of the popular hash brown casserole. This is the one my Mom uses as do my sister & I now.

Ingredients

2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes (small diced)
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (500 ml) container sour cream
1/2 cup melted butter
grated onion
salt & pepper
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
parmesan cheese, for sprinkling

Steps:

Thaw potatoes slightly.
In lg. bowl mix together all ingredients(except for the parmesan.)
Spread into a 9x13 and sprinkle with desired amount of parm (and yes, I use the stuff in the green can!) Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
*can halve recipe for a 9x9 pan.

4 cups brown rice, cooked
1 (19-ounce) can Loma Linda® Dinner Cuts veggie burger
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1 egg
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon basil
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1 cup onion, chopped
1 (4-ounce) can mushroom pieces, undrained
2 (10 3/4-ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream or yogurt

Steps:

1. Drain LOMA LINDA Dinner Cuts and pat dry. Combine flour, garlic powder and onion powder. Sprinkle over LOMA LINDA Dinner Cuts until well coated.2. Beat egg, lemon juice and basil together. Dip floured Dinner Cuts in egg then seasoned bread crumbs and fry until golden brown. Remove from skillet and cut each Dinner Cut into three strips.3. Sauti onions in skillet adding a little oil as needed. Add mushrooms with liquid, cream of mushroom soup diluted with 1 can of water and sour cream. Set aside 1 cup of mixture and add Dinner Cuts to skillet.4. Coat 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Layer brown rice and Dinner Cuts mixture twice, beginning with rice and ending with Dinner Cuts. Pour extra cup of sauce over casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 350° F for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes.
