  1. vegetable oil
  2. smoked pork sausage
  3. garlic clove
  4. onion
  5. celery
  6. green bell pepper
  7. chicken stock
  8. cayenne
  9. cooked rice
  10. fresh parsley leaves
  11. salt & freshly ground black pepper

Steps:

  1. heat the oil in a large skillet , add sausage , and brown
  2. stir in the garlic , onion , celery , and green bell pepper
  3. cook until veggies soften , about 5 minutes
  4. add salt and pepper to taste , along with chicken broth and cayenne pepper
  5. stir in cooked rice and chopped parsley , and heat through
