Doggie Bacon Chicken Layer Cake Recipes

CHICKEN AND RICE CAKES WITH BACON FOR DOGS AND PEOPLE!

Steps:

• In a medium saucepan, bring the chicken broth to a boil over high heat.
• Add the rice, lower the heat, and summer until tender, about 15 minutes.
• Transfer to a medium bowl and let cool.
• While the rice is cooking, in a medium nonstick skillet, cook the bacon over medium-high heat until crisp, about 5 minutes; drain on paper towels.
• Finely chop the bacon and add to the cooled rice.
• Reserve the skillet.
• Mix the eggs and bread crumbs into the rice mixture; season with salt and pepper.
• Shape into 4 equal-sized patties.
• In the reserved skillet, heat the olive oil, 2 turns of the pan, over medium heat.
• Add the rice cakes and cook for 4 minutes on each side.
• Let cool for 10 minutes before serving to your pup.
• Top the people's portions with sour cream and salsa.

DOGGIE BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR DOGS

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
• Grease a 6 cup ring mold.
• Combine the egg, peanut butter, oil, vanilla, and honey, if desired, in a large bowl; blend well.
• Stir in the carrots and mix thoroughly.
• Sift together the flour and baking soda and fold into the carrot mixture.
• Spoon cake batter into prepared pan.
• Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes.
• Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
• Combine flour and baking powder in bowl; set aside.
• Combine butter and olive oil in another bowl. Mix well.
• Add eggs, one at a time, to the butter and oil mixture. Stir until mixture if well-combined.
• Add shredded carrots and chicken to butter and oil mixture, and mix well.
• Slowly stir in flour mixture into the butter and oil mixture. Make sure everything is well-combined.
• Pour batter into 2 greased 8-inch round cake pans (should be about halfway full). Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into cake comes out clean.
• Make sure you cook cakes well before frosting.
• To make frosting: Combine peanut butter, cream cheese and milk in bowl. Stir until everything well blended (or use hand mixer).
• Once cakes have sufficiently cooled, place one cake on a plate and frost the top.
• Place second cake on top of the first cake, and frost the top and sides.
• Sprinkle with bacon bits to decorate.
