1 cup butter
4 ounces baking chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
3 ounces cream cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Melt 1 c. butter and chocolate in 2 qt. pan, stir til smooth.
  • Stir in remaining brownie ingredients, except chips.
  • Mix well.
  • Gently stir in chips.
  • Spread 1/2 of batter in greased or sprayed 13x9 pan.
  • Combine all filling ingredients in small bowl.
  • Beat at medium speed till creamy.
  • Spread over brownie batter in pan.
  • Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese.
  • Some cheese mix may show through.
  • Bake for 30- 35 min.
  • Cool Completely.
  • Cut into bars.

1 cup butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate squares, chopped into pieces (2oz each)
2 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
4 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup nestle toll house semisweet chocolate morsel
1/4 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F Grease 9x13-inch baking pan.
  • FOR THE BROWNIES: Microwave batter and baking squares in large, microwave-safe bowl on high power for 1 minute; stir. Microwave at additional 10-20 second intervals, stirring until smooth, Stir in sugar, flour, eggs, baking powder, salt and vanilla. Gently stir in morsels. Spread half of the batter into prepared pan.
  • FOR THE FILLING: Beat sugar, egg, cream cheese, butter, flour and vanilla in small bowl until creamy. Spread over brownie batter.
  • Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from side of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.

2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 egg
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Steps:

  • heat oven to 350*F.
  • in a 2qt saucepan combine 1 cup butter and unsweetened chocolate.
  • cook over medium heat stirring occasionally, until melted (4 to 6 min).
  • stir in remaining brownie ingredients, (except chocolate chips).
  • fold in chocolate chips.
