Number Of Ingredients 6

6 hazelnut truffles
5 ounces white candy coating, chopped
1 green or red Fruit Roll-Up
6 Oreo cookies
1 can (6.4 ounces) black decorating icing
6 slivered almonds, cut in half

Steps:

  • Place truffles on a waxed paper-lined pan. Freeze for 10 minutes or until chilled. Meanwhile, in a microwave, melt candy coating; stir until smooth. Dip truffles in coating to cover completely; allow excess to drip of. Return to prepared pan. Refrigerate until hardened. , Cut Fruit Roll-Up into 2-1/2-in. x 1-1/2-in. strips. Reheat candy coating if necessary. Dip truffles in candy coating again; allow excess to drip off. Place one on each cookie. Wrap a fruit strip around base of truffle for cape. Let stand until set., Using decorating icing and a round tip, pipe hair, eyes and mouth on each. Insert almonds for fangs. Store in an airtight container.,

1 (6 1/2 ounce) can black decorating icing

Steps:

  • Place truffles on a waxed paper-lined pan.
  • Freeze for 10 minutes or until chilled.
  • Meanwhile, in a small microwave-safe bowl, melt candy coating; stir until smooth.
  • Dip truffles in coating to cover completely; return to pan.
  • Refrigerate until hardened.
  • Cut Fruit Roll-Up into 2-1/2-in. x 1-1/2-in. strips.
  • Reheat candy coating if necessary and dip truffles in candy coating again; immediately place one on each cookie.
  • Wrap a fruit strip around base of truffle for cape.
  • Let stand until set.
  • Using decorating icing and a round tip, pipe hair, eyes and mouth on each.
  • Insert almonds for fangs.
  • Store in an airtight container.

Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
6 drops red food color
6 drops blue food color
1 container Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting
3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons M&M's® chocolate candies (48 candies)
1/3 cup red candy-coated licorice candies (72 candies)
2 tablespoons white vanilla baking chips (48 chips)

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Place paper baking cup in each of 24 regular-size muffin cups.
  • Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes. Cool in pans 10 minutes; remove from pans to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • Stir food colors into frosting for purple color. Frost cupcakes.
  • To decorate each cupcake, sprinkle miniature chocolate chips along top for hair; use 2 candy-coated candies for eyes, 3 licorice candies for nose and mouth and 2 white baking chips for fangs.

Add cookie dough mix and mix until a dough forms. 1 ½ “ balls of dough. Place onto the baking sheet with 2 inches between each cookie. Bake for 15 minutes until golden. Allow to cool completely before cutting in half.
  • Mix the frosting with the food colouring until well combined. Spread a small amount onto each half of the cookie.
  • Place 6 mini marshmallows around the round edges of half the cookie. Carefully dip two almonds into the gel food colouring. Stick them on the sides of the marshmallows to create fangs. Place the other cookie half on top.

Beat in cocoa powder and as much of the flour as you can with the mixer. Using a wooden spoon, stir in any remaining flour, oats, and pecans (if using).
  • Drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoons about 3 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake for 9 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm. Let stand on cookie sheets for 2 minutes. Transfer to wire racks and let cool.
  • For each sandwich, cut a cookie in half and frost bottoms with red frosting. Arrange 6 marshmallows along the curved edge of a cookie half. Top with other half. Place a slivered almond on either side of the center two marshmallows to resemble fangs.
