1/3 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon steak sauce
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
MARINADE:
2 tablespoons steak sauce
1 teaspoon canola oil
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
SALAD:
1/2 pound boneless beef sirloin steak
3 cups torn mixed salad greens
1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
1 small ripe avocado, peeled and cubed
2 slices red onion, separated into rings

Steps:

  • In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first 6 ingredients; shake well. Refrigerate until serving. , In a small bowl, combine marinade ingredients. Brush on both sides of steak; let stand for 30 minutes. Broil steak 4 in. from the heat until meat reaches desired doneness, 5-6 minutes on each side. , Meanwhile, on 2 plates, arrange greens, tomato, avocado and onion. Thinly slice steak; place on top of salads. Serve with dressing.

1-1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon pepper
4 beef top sirloin steaks (6 ounces each)
3/4 cup Catalina salad dressing, divided

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, combine the oil, garlic, oregano and pepper. Rub over both sides of steaks. Brush with 1/4 cup salad dressing. Place on a broiler pan., Broil 4 in. from the heat for 5-6 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°). Serve with remaining dressing.

2 tablespoons steak sauce, your favorite
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon steak sauce, your favorite
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Blend the marinade ingredients and brush on both sides of the steak. Let meat stand 30 minutes and broil 4 inches from the heat for about 5-6 minutes per side until done.
  • Meanwhile for the sauce, mix the ingredients and put into a lidded jar and shake well. Put in refrigerator until serving.
  • When meat is done, slice thin and serve with the sauce.

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 ½ pounds top sirloin - cut into 2 inch strips
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 tomatoes, diced
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk

Steps:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sirloin and salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder to taste. Stir and saute for 5 to 10 minutes, or until meat is well browned.
  • Then add the onion and saute for 5 more minutes. Then stir in the chile peppers OR bell peppers, tomatoes, soup and milk. Mix this all together well, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring often.
