Easy Chicken Picante Recipe

Time: 65 minutes



  1. salsa
  2. dijon mustard
  3. lime, juice of
  4. boneless chicken breasts
  5. butter


  1. mix the salsa , mustard and lime juice in a large bowl or ziploc bag
  2. add the chicken , turning to coat with the marinade
  3. let it marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes
  4. melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat until foamy
  5. drain chicken saving the marinade
  6. add chicken to skillet in a single layer
  7. cook 10-15 minutes till the chicken is a light brown on both sides
  8. add the reserved marinade to skillet and cook 5-10 minutes or until chicken is done
  9. remove chicken to a serving platter
  10. keep warm
  11. boil marinade in skillet over high heat 1 minutes
  12. pour over chicken
  13. top with sour cream and chopped green onions
