Making my taco bake recipe at home is quick and easy. This is the perfect weeknight dinner recipe for those times when you need something tasty that everyone will eat with no complaints!

1 container Crescent roll dough (8)
1 lb. Ground beef
1 can Refried Beans
¼ C Green onion, diced
1 C Salsa
2 Tbsp. Taco Seasoning
1 C Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 C Tomatoes, fresh, diced
1 - 1.5 C Lettuce, shredded
Sour cream for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 Remove dough from crescent roll container. Place dough in a lightly sprayed 9 x 13 pan, pressing seams together to form one large piece of dough. Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and browning on top. Meanwhile, in a fry pan, combine beef, taco seasoning and onion and saute until browned. Add salsa and refried beans. Mix well. When baking time is complete, remove crust from oven and sprinkle 1/2 C of cheddar on top of the baked crust. Spoon out the beef mixture on top of the crust and smooth out over the entire length. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar over the beef mixture and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Remove from oven and sprinkle the lettuce and fresh tomato over the top. On serving, garnish with a dollop of sour cream.

1 package taco seasoning mix
cooking spray
2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (10 ounce) bag shredded lettuce

Steps:

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease. Stir in taco seasoning.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray an 8x10-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Spread crescent roll dough into the bottom of the prepared baking dish; spoon refried beans onto dough. Layer ground beef over refried beans. Wrap edges of crescent roll dough over ground beef.

1 tube (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent rolls
2 cups crushed corn chips, divided
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 envelope taco seasoning
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Optional: cubed avocado, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce and cilantro

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Unroll crescent dough into a rectangle; press onto the bottom and 1 in. up the sides of a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Seal seams and perforations. Sprinkle with 1 cup of chips; set aside., In a large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce and taco seasoning; bring to a boil. 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 package (1 ounce) Old El Paso™ taco seasoning mix
1 can (16 ounces) tomato sauce
1 can (15.25 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
2 cups shredded Cheddar or process American cheese (8 ounces)
2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 cup milk
2 eggs
Sour cream, chopped tomato and shredded lettuce, if desired

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 325°F. Grease rectangular pan, 13x9x2 inches.
  • Cook ground beef and onion in 10-inch skillet, stirring frequently, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in dry seasoning mix, tomato sauce and corn. Spoon into pan; sprinkle with cheese. Stir Bisquick mix, milk and eggs until smooth. Pour over beef mixture.

Taco seasoning for ground beef
1 can petite diced tomatoes
8 oz. sour cream
2 cups shredded colby jack cheese
4 cups of crushed Doritos (more or less to taste)
Optional toppings:
Shredded lettuce
Diced tomatoes

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Prepare your taco meat as directed on the package of seasoning
  • Mix diced tomatoes into meat
  • Spray 9x13 glass dish with cooking spray
  • Lay out the crescent rolls in a glass 9x13 dish
  • ** For crispier "crust" bake the crescent rolls only for 6-8 minutes at 350 degrees
  • On top of crescent rolls layer meat/tomato mixture, sour cream and sprinkle cheese
  • Bake for 15 minutes at 350
  • ** If you baked the crescent rolls prior, only bake meat/cheese mixture for 5 more minutes (15 total)
  • Add crushed Doritos on top
  • Bake 15 more minutes

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
¾ cup salsa
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Optional toppings: sliced olives, sliced jalapeño, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocado or guacamole, sour cream, cilantro, diced red onion or sliced green onion

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough and gently press into the bottom of the prepared dish to form a crust. Set aside.
  • Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until meat is no longer pink. Drain and return to skillet. Stir in taco seasoning mix and 2/3 cup water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered for 3-4 minutes (stirring often), until thickened. Stir in salsa.
