- In a Dutch oven, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Stir in the ketchup, relish and soup mix; heat through. Serve immediately on buns, or cool mixture before placing in a freezer container. Cover and freeze for up to 3 months., To use frozen sloppy joes: Thaw beef mixture in the refrigerator; place in a saucepan and heat through. Serve on buns. ,

This is one of my favorite lunches when I'm pressed for time. It can easily be adjusted for more than one person. Add curry powder for a kick (I always do!).

- Cook the crumbles in a skillet with the onion and the salt.
- Combine the other ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl and nuke on high for 30-60 seconds.
- Mix the crumbles and onion with the sauce.
- Serve in a whole-wheat pita, on a tortilla, or whatever.

- Crumble the ground beef into a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring frequently until evenly browned. Drain off grease. Add the onion and celery, and cook until the onion is tender, about 3 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium and pour in the chili sauce. Stir in the vinegar and sugar. Add mustard if using. Simmer until the mixture is your desired thickness. Serve on buns.

- Melt oil or butter in small pan. Break up ground turkey in the pan and fry over low to medium heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Add barbecue sauce and ketchup to pan, mixing lightly with ground turkey. Add more sauce as desired.
- Lightly heat bread or bun in another pan untill warm.
- Scoop turkey onto bread and enjoy.
- Serve with potato salad, coleslaw or other type of salad.

This is a simple and easy recipe for making Sloppy Joes for 24 or more people. Yes, I know, what kind of good Sloppy Joe recipe uses Manwich®? In this case it's used as a base (like ketchup) to make a really tasty dish. I used the best ideas of several Sloppy Joe recipes on the Allrecipes website, added my own twist, and expanded it for a crowd.

- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1/3 of the beef, 1/2 cup onion, and 1 clove garlic. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a slow cooker. Repeat twice more with remaining oil, beef, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Add Sloppy Joe sauce, celery, green pepper, brown sugar, cider vinegar, and cloves to the slow cooker. Cook on Low for at least 4 hours, adjusting seasoning to taste.
