- Pour the chicken broth into the crock pot. Lay the chicken breast on top, then top with the ranch seasoning. Cover and cook on high for 2.5 hours.
- At the end of the cook time, remove the chicken and shred it. Drain the broth, reserving 1/4 cup of the broth.
- Place the shredded chicken, the reserved ranch seasoning and broth, and cream cheese back into the crock pot and stir until everything is evenly combined.
- Serve on top of rice, in pita pockets, stuffed in baked potatoes, or any of the other ideas mentioned in this post!

- In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Drain drippings, reserving 1 tablespoon., Place potatoes in a 3-qt. slow cooker. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, soup, milk, dressing mix and reserved drippings until blended; stir into potatoes. Sprinkle with bacon., Cook, covered, on low until potatoes are tender, 7-8 hours. Top with green onions.

My kids love this recipe. It's flavorful and yet easy to make. I place baked potatoes in oven at the same time. Then use the rest of the dry ranch to make topping for the potatoes or salad.

Steps:
- Mix ranch dressing, salt, pepper and dry bread crumbs in 1 quart storage bag.
- Beat 2 eggs in bowl.
- Rinse and dredge chicken through egg then place in bag and shake until completely covered.
- Place in buttered 13x9-inch glass baking dish.
- Place a pat of butter on top of chicken.
- Cook at 375°F for 1 hour.
- Note: Can use already prepared ranch dressing.
- Omit eggs and dredge through dressing and then trough dry bread crumbs or crackers.
- Also can put crackers in dry bread crumbs to make crispier coating.
- Time may vary depending on the size of the breasts.

- Place potatoes and yellow onions in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray. Sprinkle with flour; mix lightly. Add chicken broth; top with chicken. Sprinkle with salad dressing mix. Cover with lid.
- Cook on LOW 6 to 7 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours).
- Use slotted spoon to transfer chicken to plate. Transfer potatoes and yellow onions to platter; top with chicken. Cover to keep warm.
- Add cream cheese to liquid remaining in slow cooker; cook on HIGH 3 to 4 min. or until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is well blended, stirring constantly with whisk.
- Spoon sauce over chicken and vegetables; sprinkle with green onions.
