Steps:

  • Open the package of canned cinnamon rolls and remove them from the package. Separate the frosting container.
  • Put the raw rolls into the air fryer basket or air fryer tray.Air Fry the cinnamon rolls 350F/ 176C for 8-9 minutes.
  • Remove the rolls from the air fryer basket, top with frosting and enjoy.

Most people don't think of desserts when they get an air fryer but these cinnamon rolls might change the way you look at air fryers and cinnamon rolls forever!

4 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Granulated White Sugar
2 tsp Quick-Rise Instant Yeast
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Oil (we used canola)
1.5 cups Water (warm, but not hot)
1 tsp Vanilla (pure is best if you have it)
t tsp Cinnamon (ground)
1 tbsp Cinnamon (ground)
3 tbsp Vegan butter (melted)
¼ cup Granulated White Sugar
¼ cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Icing Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla (pure is best if you have it)
1.5 tbsp Soy Milk (unsweetened)
1 tbsp Vegan Butter (melted)

Steps:

  • Combine 3 cups flour, 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp yeast, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 tsp salt in a big mixing bowl.
  • In a separate bowl combine 1.5 cups warm water, 1 tbsp of oil, and 1 tsp of vanilla, then add to flour mixture.
  • Use a spatula to gently mix until a sticky ball is formed.
  • On a generously floured surface (about ½ a cup of flour) knead the dough well until it is light and fluffy. Adding more flour as you knead so it doesn't stick to your fingers.
  • Once the ball is no longer sticky and has been kneaded well. Cover with a tea towel for 10 minutes and let rise.
  • While you're letting the dough rise, in a separate bowl combine melted vegan butter, 1 tbsp cinnamon, ¼ cup of white sugar, and ¼ cup of brown sugar.
  • Once the dough has risen roll out into a rectangular shape, about 16 in by 12 in.
  • Use a spatula to spread the filling you just made across the surface of the dough, leaving about ¼ in from the edges.
  • Starting from one of the long edges roll the dough, away from yourself.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut the dough into about 1 ½ inch rolls. The dough makes about 12 using this method but can make more or less depending on how big or small you want to cut them.
  • Place the freshly cut rolls into the air fryer pot and cover with saran wrap for 30 min to let rise.
  • After 30 min remove the saran wrap and turn air fryer on to 320° for 17 min.
  • While you wait, combine 1 cup icing sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1.5 tbsp soy milk, and 1 tbsp of melted vegan butter.
  • When the rolls are done in the air fryer remove them, place on a plate, top with frosting, and enjoy!

2 tablespoons vegan butter, to coat the foil pan
2 cups almond milk, at room temperature
½ cup vegan butter, melted
¼ cup organic sugar
1 packet active dry yeast
5 ½ cups flour, divided
1 teaspoon salt
¾ cup vegan butter
¾ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons almond milk
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Generously rub two disposable foil pie pans with vegan butter.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the almond milk, melted butter, and sugar. The mixture should be just warm, registering between 100-110˚F (37-43˚C). If it is hotter, allow to cool slightly.
  • Sprinkle the yeast evenly over the warm mixture and let set for 1 minute.
  • Add 5 cups flour and 1 teaspoon of salt to the milk mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until just combined.
  • Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap and set in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
  • Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  • After 1 hour, the dough should have nearly doubled in size.
  • Remove the towel and add an additional ½ cup (95g) of flour and salt. Stir well, then turn out onto a well-floured surface.
  • Knead the dough lightly, adding additional flour as necessary, until the dough just loses its stickiness and does not stick to the surface.
  • Roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about ½-inch (1 cm) thick. Fix corners to make sure they are sharp and even.
  • Spread the softened vegan butter evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll up the dough, forming a log, and pinch the seam closed. Place seam-side down. Trim off any unevenness on either end.
  • Cut the log in half, then divide each half into 7 evenly sized pieces. About 1½ inches (8 cm) thick each.
  • Place 7 cinnamon rolls in each cake pan, one in the center, six around the sides. Cover with plastic wrap and place in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes.
  • To prepare the frosting. In a medium-size mixing bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Remove plastic wrap. Bake the cinnamon rolls in a preheated oven at 350˚F (180˚C) for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • While still warm, drizzle evenly with frosting.
  • Enjoy!

  • Unroll crescent dough into 1 rectangle; seal perforations. Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting with a short side; pinch seam to seal. Using a serrated knife, cut into 4 slices. , Preheat air fryer to 350°. Place rolls, pinched side down, in ungreased ramekins or individual silicone muffin cups. Place in air fryer. 1 cup almond milk
⅓ cup vegan margarine (such as Earth Balance®)
6 tablespoons water
3 tablespoons dry egg replacer (such as Bob's Red Mill®)
½ cup white sugar
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
3 cups unbleached or all-purpose flour, or as needed
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup vegan margarine (such as Earth Balance®), melted
¾ cup white sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, or to taste
1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Combine almond milk and margarine for dough in a large microwave-safe bowl; microwave on high power for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Combine water and egg replacer in a bowl; mix well. Let sit for 1 minute to thicken.
  • Meanwhile, add sugar and yeast to the warm milk mixture and stir to combine. Mix in egg substitute. Add 3 cups flour and salt; mix with your hands until well combined. Add more flour (up to 1 cup) and knead until dough is no longer sticky. Cover bowl with a towel and let rest in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • Punch down dough and roll on a lightly floured surface into a 12x16-inch rectangle.
  • Spread melted margarine over the dough and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; smooth filling ingredients with a spoon. Starting at the long edge, roll dough into a log and cut into 12 rolls. (For bigger rolls, roll from the short edge.) Place rolls in a greased pan, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Remove rolls from the refrigerator, uncover, and allow to warm for 30 to 60 minutes.
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Bake rolls in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 30 minutes.
  • When rolls are almost finished, mix confectioners' sugar, water, and vanilla for glaze in a bowl. Spread on warm rolls.

6 ½ tablespoons white sugar
5 ½ tablespoons vegetable shortening
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons applesauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ¼ cups soy milk
1 (.25 ounce) package instant yeast
6 ½ tablespoons white sugar
1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon soy milk
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Cream together sugar, shortening, and salt. Whip in applesauce, cornstarch, and lemon juice until smooth. Add flour, soy milk, and yeast until dough forms a ball.
  • Knead on a floured surface for several minutes, then let rise in an oiled, covered bowl until doubled in size, about 2 hours.
  • Roll dough into a rectangle, about the size of a cookie sheet. Combine sugar and cinnamon for filling; cover dough with mixture; it will seem like a lot, but it turns out better if you use all of it.
  • Roll the dough up into a cylinder, and cut into 6 rolls, keeping the loose end of the roll on the bottom. Let rolls rise on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper until doubled in size, 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 20 to 30 minutes.
  • While rolls are baking, combine powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for icing in a bowl.
  • Remove rolls from the oven. Let cool for about 10 minutes, then drizzle icing over the tops. Serve warm!
