Strawberry Smoothie image

This strawberry smoothie recipe calls for frozen strawberries for a milkshake-like texture. If you use fresh strawberries, simply add ice cubes.

2 cups frozen strawberries (unsweetened)
1/2 cup cranberry-raspberry juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
Garnish: 2 fresh strawberries

Steps:

  • Gather the ingredients.
  • Place strawberries in bottom of a blender or food processor fitted with a metal blade. Add cranberry-raspberry juice and orange juice and top with vanilla yogurt.
  • Cover and immediately blend until smooth, scraping down sides if needed.
  • Pour into glasses and garnish each with a strawberry. Serve immediately.

1 (8.3 ounce) can citrus flavored energy drink (e.g. Red Bull™)
2 cups frozen strawberries

Steps:

  • In the container of a blender, combine the energy drink and frozen strawberries. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 1 minute. Add some water if blending is difficult. Pour into 2 big glasses.
