My husband loves this. Melts in your mouth and its easy!!! Serve over rice or egg noodles.

3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, chopped
2 pounds cubed beef stew meat
2 cups water
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (.75 ounce) packet dry brown gravy mix
1 cup water

Steps:

  • In a large skillet heat oil over high heat. Saute the onion until almost translucent.
  • Add the stew meat and cook on high heat until meat is browned on all sides; about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Pour 2 cups water, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce into the skillet. Stir in garlic powder, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  • Meanwhile combine the gravy mix with 1 cup water. Mix thoroughly and stir into the meat mixture. Bring to a boil stirring frequently until slightly thickened.

3 Tbsp. oil, divided
1/3 cup chopped red pepper s
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 lb. beef sirloin tip steak, cut into 1-inch pieces
5 Tbsp. flour, divided
3 cups fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth, divided
2 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
2 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
2 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Reduced Sodium Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Steps:

  • Slice onions, separating the dark green slices from the white and light green slices.
  • Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium heat. Add white and light green onion slices, red peppers and garlic; cook 5 min. or until peppers are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Spoon vegetable mixture into bowl.
  • Toss meat with 3 Tbsp. flour. Heat remaining oil in Dutch oven. Add meat, in batches; cook 8 to 10 min. or until evenly browned on all sides, stirring frequently.
  • Return all meat to Dutch oven along with the cooked vegetables, 2-1/2 cups broth, mustard, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper; mix well. Bring to boil; simmer, partially covered, on medium-low heat 1 hour to 1 hour 10 min. or until meat is tender.
  • Mix remaining flour and remaining broth in small bowl until blended. Add to ingredients in Dutch oven; mix well. Bring to boil, stirring constantly; simmer on medium-low heat 2 to 3 min. or until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with dark green onion slices.

1 1/4 ounces dry onion soup mix
1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
1/2 cup beef broth
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water

Steps:

  • Cut beef into 1-inch pieces.
  • Add remaining ingredients in crock pot except cornstarch and water.
  • Cover and cover on low for 6-7 hours or until meat is tender.
  • Combine cornstarch and water add to crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on high 30 minutes or until thick.
  • Serve over noodles rice or mash potatoes.

1 boneless beef chuck roast (3 to 4 pounds)
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, cut up
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 envelope Lipton beefy onion soup mix
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water

Steps:

  • Cut roast in half. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the tomatoes, soup and soup mix; pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender., Remove meat to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a large saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth; stir into the pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve with roast.

1 lb lean stewing beef, cubed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
3 -4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup red wine
2 cups water
2 beef bouillon cubes
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 tablespoons cornstarch
salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Heat oil in medium-sized sauce pan over medium high heat.
  • Brown stew meat with onions and garlic until meat is browned on all sides.
  • Add soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, wine, and water.
  • Add beef bouillon, mushrooms, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.
  • Dissolve corn starch in 1/2 cup water. Slowly stir into the meat mixture to thicken. (Use more or less cornstarch, depending on how thick you want it.).
  • Serve over rice.

1/2 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped green peppers
1 clove garlic, minced
1 lb. beef sirloin tip steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
3 Tbsp. flour, divided
1-1/2 cups fat-free reduced-sodium beef broth, divided
2 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
2 Tbsp. LEA & PERRINS Reduced Sodium Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked

Steps:

  • Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions, green peppers and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until onions are tender. Remove vegetables from skillet.
  • Toss meat with 2 Tbsp. flour in large bowl. Heat remaining oil in same skillet. Add meat; cook 8 to 10 min. or until browned on all sides, stirring frequently.
  • Add 1-1/4 cups broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper to skillet; mix well. Stir in vegetables. Bring to boil; partially cover. Simmer on low heat 1 hour or until meat is tender, stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cook rice as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Mix remaining broth and remaining flour in small bowl until blended. Stir into meat mixture; bring to boil, stirring constantly. Simmer on medium-low heat 2 to 3 min. or until thickened. Serve over rice.
