Air Fryer Onion Rings are easy to make and so delicious! Perfectly seasoned onion rings that are extra crispy make a great party appetizer or movie night snack.

Ingredients

1/2 cup All-purpose flour
1 tsp Smoked paprika
1 large Yellow sweet onion ((sliced 1/2-inch thick and separated into rings))
1/2 tsp Salt ((divided))
1 Large egg
1 tbsp Water
1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Olive oil

Steps:

In a shallow bowl, stir together flour, paprika, and 1/4 teaspoon of the salt.
In a second shallow bowl, lightly beat egg and water.
In a third shallow bowl, stir together breadcrumbs and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Dredge onion rings in flour mixture, shaking off excess. Dip in egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Dredge in breadcrumbs mixture, pressing to adhere. Coat evenly.
Lightly spray air fryer basket with oil.
Place the rings in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Make sure there is space between them. Cook in batches if required.
Cook at 375°F until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes.
Once cooked, lift out the onion rings with a fork and serve.

Ingredients

¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 large onion, cut into rings
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup bread crumbs
cooking spray
2 pinches garlic powder
2 pinches paprika

Steps:

Stir flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt together in a small bowl. Dip onion rings into the flour mixture until coated; set aside.
Whisk milk and egg into the flour mixture using a fork. Dip the floured rings into the batter to coat. Place on a wire rack to drain until the batter stops dripping.
Place bread crumbs in a shallow dish. Place rings one at a time into the crumbs and scoop the crumbs over the rings to coat evenly. Give rings a hard tap as you remove them from the crumbs; the coating should cling very well. Repeat with remaining rings.
Heat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) according to manufacturer's instructions. Place rings side by side in the frying basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray. Flip rings and place basket in the air fryer. Cook until rings are golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes. Flip once halfway through. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with garlic powder and paprika.

Air Fryer
1 Large Onion
2 Bread Maker Gluten Free Rolls
2 Large Eggs
120 g Oat Flour
1 Tbsp Basil
1 Tsp Garlic Puree
1 Tsp Paprika
½ Tsp Mustard Powder
Salt & Pepper

Steps:

Place into a bowl your eggs and garlic puree and using a fork beat the eggs.
Place into a second bowl your oat flour along with salt, pepper and mustard.
Blend your gluten free bread rolls and place into a third bowl along with the rest of your seasonings.
Make sure each bowl is well mixed with its seasonings.
Slice your onion into rings.
Place each of your onion rings into the oat flour bowl, the egg bowl and the breadcrumbs bowl until it is well mixed.
Shake off any excess batter and place your onion rings into your air fryer basket. Cook for 6 minutes at 200c/400f and serve with your favourite dipping sauce.
