PEANUT BUTTER FOOTBALL DIP
Peanut Butter Football Dip is the ultimate super bowl recipe! Peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, and sugar mix to make a sweet cheeseball recipe that's perfect for a party! Shape it like a football for game day!
Provided by Dorothy Kern
Time 20m
Number Of Ingredients 8
Steps:
- Cream butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter until mixed (using a hand-held mixer). Mix in vanilla.
- Add powdered sugar, ½ cup at a time, and mix until combined. (If you want a stiffer mixture, add the extra ½ cup of powdered sugar.) Mix in chocolate chips.
- Turn out mixture on a large sheet of waxed paper. Use your hands to form into a football shape. (This would also be cute as "lips" for Valentine's Day!)
- Place the waxed paper onto your serving plate. (It helps if the plate has sides...less mess!) Cover in sprinkles or chocolate chips, pressing them into the surface a little so they stick. Pipe on the laces using melted white chocolate or some leftover frosting and chill until ready to serve.
- Serving suggestion: pretzels, animal crackers, cookies, a spoon.

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE CHIP FOOTBALL DIP
A simple salty and sweet football dip for tailgating and football themed parties. This Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Football Dip Recipe is a crowd pleasing winner!
Provided by Trish
Number Of Ingredients 9
Steps:
- Begin by adding cream cheese, peanut butter, butter and vanilla to a large mixing bowl then use an electric mixer to blend the soften ingredients until the mixture is well combined. Next, slowly add in the powdered sugar and continue to mix until the white powder is well blended into the creamy mixture.
- Use a baking spatula or wooden spoon to gently fold the mini chocolate chips into the peanut butter dough. Next, use your hands to form a big dough ball in the mixing bowl then place the dough in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Put a sheet of waxed paper or parchment paper on the counter or table then after the mixture has chilled place the dough ball on the paper. Then use your hands to manipulate the dough into the shape of a football. (This football platter makes it real easy to create the perfect shaped football! I just build my peanut butter football over the one on the platter.)
- Next, cover the football shaped dough with chocolate sprinkles then lightly press them into the surface of the peanut butter and chocolate chip dough. After the football shape is completely covered in sprinkles use white frosting to draw football laces onto the football.
- Chill the peanut butter and chocolate dip football for one hour before serving with pretzels, cookies, graham crackers or another dipper of your choice. Enjoy!
