French Toasted Ham Turkey And Cheese Sandwich Recipes

TOASTED TURKEY HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH USDA

Steps:

• Brush approximately 1⁄2 oz (1 Tbsp) margarine or butter on each sheet pan (18" x 26" x 1"). For 50 servings, use 3 pans. Reserve the remaining margarine or butter for step 5.
• Place 20 slices of bread on each sheet pan, 4 across and 5 down. For 50 servings, one pan will have only 10 slices.
• Top each slice of bread with 1 slice (1 oz) of cheese and 1 slice (1 3⁄4 oz) of turkey ham.
• Cover with remaining bread slices.
• Brush tops of sandwiches with remaining margarine or butter, approximately 1 1⁄2 oz (3 Tbsp) per pan.
• Bake until lightly browned:Conventional oven: 400° F for 15-20 minutesConvection oven: 350° F for 10-15 minutesDO NOT OVERBAKE.
• If desired, cut each sandwich diagonally in half.

FRENCH-TOASTED HAM, TURKEY AND CHEESE SANDWICH

Steps:

• Spread the inside of each slice of bread with prepared mustard.
• In a shallow dish combine the milk eggs, salt and pepper; whisk to combine thoroughly.
• Make 6 sandwiches layering 1 slice ham, 1 slice turkey and 1 slice cheese (can use more more).
• Lightly brush the outside of the sandwiches with melted butter.
• Melt butter in a skillet over low heat.
• Dip the sandwich/s in the milk/egg mixture, turning to coat each side.
• Brown in the skillet.

OVEN-TOASTED HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 425°F. Spread bread slices evenly with mayo. Place 4 of the bread slices, mayo-sides down, on greased baking sheet; spread tops with mustard.
• Cover each with 6 ham slices, 2 tomato slices and 1 cheese slice. Top with remaining 4 bread slices, mayo-sides up.
• Bake 12 to 13 min. or until golden brown on both sides, turning over after 6 min.

HAM AND CHEESE FRENCH TOAST

Steps:

• Beat together eggs, cream and salt in pie plate.
• Spread tops of the slices of bread evenly with the butter, then the mustard.
• Top four slices of the bread with the cheese and ham.
• Place other four slices on top and dip into the egg mixture.
• Place sandwiches in preheated skillet with butter added and cook each side until golden brown.
• If cooked in batches, keep warm in oven until all sandwiches are done.

FRENCH-TOASTED HAM & CHEESE SANDWICH

Steps:

• Mix mayo and mustard; spread onto bread slices. Fill bread slices with ham and process cheese.
• Whisk egg and milk in shallow dish until blended. Dip sandwich in egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides.
• Cook in skillet on medium heat 5 min. on each side or until cheese is melted and sandwich is golden brown on both sides.
