- Layer ingredients in 1-1/2-qt. glass canister or jar in the following order (from bottom to top): flour, baking soda, sugar mixed with flavored instant coffee, oats, chocolate and nuts, tapping jar gently on counter to settle each layer before adding next layer. Cover with lid.
- Attach Baking Directions (see below) to jar.
- BAKING DIRECTIONS:
- Heat oven to 375°F. Beat 3/4 cup softened butter, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Empty contents of cookie mix jar into bowl; beat until blended.
- Drop heaping tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.
- Bake 12 to 13 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 1 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

- In a large bowl, mix the brown and with sugar both the vanilla and add in the butter until well-combined. Add one egg at a time.
- In a separate medium bowl, combine the flour and baking powder together before mixing everything together. When everything is well-combined, add in the chocolate chunks and place the dough in the fridge for at least two hours to set.
- Set the oven to 180°C. Roll the dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes.
- When you take them out of the oven, sprinkle them with sea salt and leave them on the baking tray for about two minutes before placing them on a rack to cool.
- Serve.
