MOCHA FRENCH TOAST BAKE RECIPE BY TASTY



Mocha French Toast Bake Recipe by Tasty image

Here's what you need: flaky biscuit dough, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, instant coffee, chocolate bars, cooking spray, whipped cream, chocolate syrup

2 tubes flaky biscuit dough, 16 biscuits
3 eggs
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons instant coffee
2 bars chocolate bars, 8.8 oz (250 G)
cooking spray
whipped cream, optional, for garnish
1 ¼ cups chocolate syrup, optional, for garnish

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  • Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and place in a large bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and instant coffee until well-blended.
  • Pour the liquid mixture over the biscuits and stir to coat.
  • Spoon half of the biscuit and liquid mixture into a greased 9-inch (22 cm) square baking dish.
  • Place the chocolate bars on top and cover with the remaining half of the biscuit mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the biscuits are no longer doughy on the inside and there is no more liquid.
  • Cool for 10 minutes and serve with a dollop of whipped cream and drizzle of chocolate syrup.

1 jar (8 ounces) powdered French Vanilla nondairy creamer
1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup instant coffee granules
EACH SERVING:
1 cup hot water
Sweetened whipped cream and baking cocoa

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 2 months., Yield: 16 servings (4 cups total)., To prepare cappuccino: Place 1/4 cup mix in a coffee mug. Add 1 cup hot water; stir until combined. Top with whipped cream; sprinkle with baking cocoa.

1 cup powdered milk
1/2 cup powdered coffee creamer
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup French vanilla instant pudding

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients together whisking until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a pretty jar, resealable container, or a zip lock bag. Store on the pantry shelf. This makes a good gift.
  • To serve, spoon 2-3 heaping tablespoons into a coffee mug, add fresh brewed coffee and stir to blend.
  • If you wish, you may add 1/3 cup instant coffee granules to the mixture and then just mix with very hot water.
