- Whisk together all the ingredients in a shallow bowl until smooth. The batter can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 hours. Whisk well before using. To use the batter: preheat oil to 375 degrees F in a deep fryer or large skillet. Dip the shrimp into the batter then add to the oil. Cook, turning as needed, until the coating is golden brown and the shrimp are cooked. Remove from the oil and let drain on paper toweling before serving.

- Peel and de-vein the shrimp. Rinse under cold water and pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Beat the eggs with 3 tablespoons of water and the olive oil. Add the parsley, garlic saffron, baking soda and salt. Stir in the flour to make a smooth batter and allow to rest for 1 hour, unrefrigerated.
- In a deep pan heat olive oil to 350 degrees F. Dip shrimp into batter, allowing any excess to drip off. Fry until golden brown and slightly puffed.

- Combine the cornstarch and flour in one bowl, then beat the eggs and 1/2 cup water in a second bowl. In a third bowl, combine the panko and seasoned breadcrumbs. Bread the shrimp by dipping them first in the flour mix, then the egg wash, then the breadcrumbs.
- Heat about 1/2 inch of oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat to 350 degrees F.
- Fry the shrimp in batches until golden and crispy, approximately 2 minutes per side. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and season with salt and pepper. Serve with Cocktail Sauce.

- Heat 1/2-inch of oil in a large, heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat. Line a large plate with a paper towel, set aside.
- In a cake pan or pie plate whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper.
- In another cake pan, mix together the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Add shrimp to the egg mixture and coat well. A few at a time, add the shrimp to the flour and coat completely. Place on a clean plate while you bread the remaining shrimp.
