A major jello upgrade, transforming it into a creamy dessert with the addition yogurt and heavy cream. Light in texture, rich in flavor, perfectly sweet with lovely notes of tanginess.

1 package Jello (flavor of your choice; I used Strawberry)*
1 cup boiling water (measure after boiling)
1/2 cup (127g) plain, full fat natural yogurt*
1/2 cup (118ml) heavy whipping cream*
For Garnish: (optional)
Whipped cream
Berries of choice
Mint leaves

Steps:

Empty the contents of the jello envelope into a medium bowl. Pour the boiling water over the jello and whisk until completely dissolved. Set aside to cool down to warm room temperature; about 30 minutes. Do not attempt to speed up the cooling process by refrigerating it, as this will solidify the jello.
Meanwhile, take both the yogurt and cream out of the fridge, to bring them close to room temperature. By ensuring that all components are at a similar temperature, prevents the mixture from curdling. Adding cold dairy to hot jello mixture, will cause the mixture to curdle and split and the texture won't be pleasant.
When the jello mixture is no longer hot to the touch, whisk in the yogurt and cream until evenly combined.
Divide the mixture evenly into 4 ramekins or glasses or 1 medium serving bowl, if serving family-style. Refrigerate until set, 2 to 3 hours or up to overnight.
If desired, garnish with whipping cream, topped with a berry and mint leaves. Serve cold or at cool room temperature.

5 (3 ounce) packages lemon Jell-O gelatin
6 cups boiling water
1 (12 ounce) can frozen lemonade
1 (12 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Steps:

Dissolve jello in boiling water, then stir in lemonade concentrate until dissolved.
Chill until partially set.
Fold in whipped topping.
Pour into a 13 x 9 glass dish.
Chill until firm.

Ingredients

1 cup boiling water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups cold water
7 pop molds or paper or plastic cups
7 wooden pop sticks

Steps:

Stir boiling water into combined dry gelatin mix and sugar in medium bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Pour evenly into pop molds. Freeze 2 hours or until almost firm.
Insert pop stick into each mold for handle.
Freeze 8 hours or overnight until firm. Press firmly onto bottom of mold to release pop. Store leftover pops in freezer.

One of our favorite summer side dishes - Creamy Frozen Jello!

Number Of Ingredients 5

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple (do not drain)
1/2 cup sugar
1 (3 ounce) package lime jello (or orange jello)
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 cup sour cream

Steps:

In a saucepan, bring pineapple and sugar to full rolling boil on stove-top; remove from heat.
Stir in box of jello and let cool.
In a separate bowl, whip whipping cream (unflavored - don't worry about adding any sugar because this dish is sweet enough). Fold in sour cream to whipped cream, then add to jello mix and whip until it's completely mixed together.
Line bottom of 9 x 5" loaf pan with wax paper. Gently pour creamy jello mix into prepared pan.
Cover with aluminum foil and freeze for at least 4-6 hours (preferably overnight).
When ready to eat, remove from the freezer and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Slice in half lengthwise, and then into 3/4" slices.
