Fudge Fondue image

A no-fuss fondue, this pot of molten chocolate is made with hot fudge topping. Dip in marshmallows, fruit and cake cubes, then roll them in coconut.

2 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Steps:

  • Mix topping and butter in fondue pot or saucepan; cook on low heat until chocolate is completely melted, stirring occasionally.
  • Keep warm while serving.

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (14 ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • In heavy saucepan, over medium heat, melt chocolate chips and butter with EAGLE BRAND® and water. Cook and stir constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.
  • Serve warm as a fruit and cookie/cracker dipping sauce or drizzle over ice cream or cake. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

This sauce can transform ice cream or other desserts into a delicious delight! Or, you can use this sauce in your fondue pot with your favorite dippers for a sweet treat!

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 (14 1/2 ounce) can evaporated milk
2 cups sugar
4 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

  • Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil, stirring constantly.
  • Boil and stir 1 minute.
  • Add chocolate, stirring until melted.
  • Beat over heat until smooth.
  • (If sauce has slightly curdled appearance, beat vigorously until creamy smooth).
  • Remove from heat; blend in butter, vanilla, and salt.

1/2 cup very hot coffee
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened, Dutch processed cocoa
1/2 cup light corn syrup
4 ounces semi sweet chocolate, chopped
1 ounce unsalted butter
6 ounces white chocolate
1/4 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
2 teaspoons dark rum and 1 teaspoon framboise
1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
Chocolate covered banana bites
Fresh fruit
Chocolate pound cake, cubed
Toasted coconut

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the coffee, sugar and cocoa. Whisk in the corn syrup until all the sugar crystals are dissolved and the mixture is completely smooth. Place the chocolate and butter in a large, dry bowl, set over barely simmering water. When the chocolate has melted, whisk in the coffeecocoa mixture until smooth and blended. The sauce is best if left to ripen overnight.
  • In a completely dry bowl or double boiler, set over barely simmering water, melt the chocolate halfway. Remove from heat and stir to completely melt. Over medium heat, bring the cream, corn syrup, rum and/or framboise to a scald. Pour the hot mixture over the melted chocolate and stir with a whisk until blended and smooth. Add the butter and whisk for 1 full minute to thicken.
  • Assemble: Serve sauces in fondue pots: over a flame and get ready to dip.

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter, cubed
1 cup heavy whipping cream
3 tablespoons strong brewed coffee
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
Cubed pound cake, sliced bananas and fresh strawberries and pineapple chunks

Steps:

  • In a heavy saucepan, combine the first five ingredients; cook and stir over medium heat until chips are melted. Remove from heat. In a small bowl, whisk a small amount of hot mixture into egg yolks; return all to pan, whisking constantly. Cook and stir until a thermometer reads 160°., Transfer to a fondue pot and keep warm. Serve with cake and fruit.
