GARLIC BUTTER EGG NOODLES WITH ITALIAN STYLE BREAD CRUMBS
I just made this recipe up years ago. The bread crumbs and garlic powder bring alot of flavor to the egg noodles. It is one of my sons favorites.

Steps:
- Make the Egg Noodles and drain. Put them back in the pot and add the stick of butter and stir to melt.
- Add the garlic powder and salt and pepper.
- You can stop right there and have garlic buttered noodles -- but you can kick up the flavor like I do and add the Italian Style bread crumbs. Don't add to much or it can get dry because the bread crumbs soak up the butter.

BUTTERED EGG NOODLES
Steps:
- Cook 12 ounces wide egg noodles in salted boiling water until al dente. Transfer 1/4 cup cooking water to a skillet. Stir in 4 tablespoons butter, one at a time. Add some chopped parsley and/or dill, a squeeze of lemon juice, and salt and pepper. Drain the noodles and toss with the sauce.
EGG NOODLES WITH GARLIC AND HERBS
Steps:
- Bring a stockpot of water to a boil. Drop in the noodles and cook, stirring frequently, until al dente, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Melt the butter with the oil in a small skillet or saucepan. Add the garlic and cook about 1 minute, or until hot throughout but not at all colored. Immediately remove the pan from the heat.
- Drain the noodles in a colander and return to the pot. Pour on the garlic butter and toss well. Add the salt and parsley, and toss again. Serve immediately.
FRIED BUTTERED NOODLES
This is comfort food at its finest! Serve with roast beef or meat of your choice.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes; drain.
- Melt butter in a skillet or large pot over low heat. Add bread crumbs and stir until coated in butter. Mix noodles into bread crumbs mixture. Cook, stirring occasionally, until a crust forms on the bottom, about 30 minutes; season with salt.

- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat; simmer, stirring frequently, until butter is browned, fragrant, and foamy, with brown bits in it, 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add chicken broth and bouillon to the pan with the butter; bring to a boil over high heat. Stir in egg noodles, bring to a second boil, cover, and turn off heat; leave pot on the same burner. Let stand for 30 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the noodles according to the package instructions. Drain noodles and wipe the pot clean. Return the pot to medium-high heat and add the butter. When the butter is sizzling and bubbling a bit, add the green onion and the garlic. Fry for 1 minute or until very fragrant; be careful not to let the garlic burn.
- Add the brown sugar, Maggi Seasoning and oyster sauce and stir well to mix everything evenly. Add the noodles and toss vigorously to get the good stuff evenly distributed throughout the noodles.
