This is very easy and fast to make; using fat free dressing keeps the calories down and helps prevent the chicken from burning.

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 cup fat free ranch dressing
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Steps:

  • Combine the dressing, garlic and basil in a large resealable plastic bag. Add chicken pieces, turning them to coat. Squeeze out air and seal bag. Place in refrigerator for 1/2 hour.
  • Preheat grill to medium heat.
  • Grill chicken breasts for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, turning occasionally, until juices run clear when pierced with a fork.

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (5 ounces each)
1/4 cup 2% milk
1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon ranch salad dressing mix
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon butter

Steps:

  • Flatten chicken slightly; set aside. In a shallow bowl, combine milk and garlic. In another shallow bowl, combine the flour, salad dressing mix and pepper. Dip chicken in milk mixture, then coat with flour mixture., In a large cast-iron or other heavy skillet, cook chicken in oil and butter over medium heat until no longer pink, 6-8 minutes.

1 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
¼ cup butter
6 cloves crushed garlic
2 cups seasoned dry bread crumbs

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a small saucepan melt butter/margarine with garlic. Dip chicken pieces in butter/garlic sauce, letting extra drip off, then coat completely with bread crumbs.
  • Place coated chicken in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Combine any leftover butter/garlic sauce with bread crumbs and spoon mixture over chicken pieces. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
