Ginger Citrus Dragon Fruit Smoothie is a tropical snack or breakfast with red dragon fruit (pitaya) fresh citrus, ginger and bananas. (Gluten-Free & Vegan)

1 Banana (chopped fresh or frozen)
1 Dragon fruit (peeled and chopped (we used the red variety) (fresh or frozen))
1/3 cup orange juice (or juice from one orange)
1 tbsp lime juice (fresh)
1 tsp Ginger (freshly grated)

Steps:

  • In a blender, add chopped banana, dragon fruit, juice of 1 orange, juice of ½ lime, and 1 teaspoon of ginger and blend until smooth.
  • Garnish with fresh fruits, chia seeds or whatever your little heart desires. Enjoy!

Add more or less water, according to preference for desired texture. You can use a pear instead of the apple, and sparkling water instead of still water.

¼ cup seedless green grapes
½ green apple, cored and chopped
3 frozen strawberries, or more to taste

1 tablespoon agave nectar

Steps:

  • Blend water, blueberries, grapes, apple, strawberries, ginger, and agave nectar together in a blender until thick and slushy.

1/2 pink grapefruit (peeled and quartered)
1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tbsp ginger root (peeled and minced, or 1 1/2 inch knob, peeled)
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or more, to taste)
2 tbsp honey
1 cup cashew milk (or any nut milk, or dairy milk.)
1/4 cup ice cubes

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients into a high powered blender and spin for a couple of minutes, until everything is pureed.
  • Pour into a glass and drink right away.
