1 (8 ounce) bottle Russian salad dressing
1 (10 ounce) jar apricot preserves
1 (2 ounce) package onion soup mix
1 (3 lb) whole chickens, cut up
salt
fresh ground black pepper

Steps:

  • Combine dressing, preserves, and onion mix in bowl; set aside.
  • Salt and pepper chicken.
  • Pour dressing mix in a 13 x 9 x - inch baking dish. Place chicken in single file so as they are not on top of each other, skin side down.
  • Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes, basting occasionally. Turn chicken over and bake for 35 minutes more, basting occasionally.
  • I like to serve this with wild rice, a nice salad, and fresh yeast rolls.

bacon
maple syrup
dijon mustard
splash of vinegar
salt/ pepper
cup of strong black coffee , cold in temp..please
coating:
brown sugar
chili powder

Steps:

  • take healthly portion of boneless chicken breasts and soak in marinating mixture, remove and wrap in bacon, tack w/ toothpic if needed, roll in brown sugar and chili powder ( i spread bsugar on plate and shake a thick covering of chili powder on top...)then i roll the chicken, place on a foil covered cookie sheet at 350 for about 30 to 35 min..next time im going to try it on the grill with mesquite wood...yummmm

1 chicken, cut into eight pieces
1 dozen chicken wings
1/2-1 cup margarine
1 cup honey
6 tablespoons mustard
4 teaspoons curry powder

Steps:

  • In a saucepan cook the margarine, honey, mustard and curry together.
  • Simmer for a couple of minutes.
  • Place the chicken in a baking pan and pour the sauce over the chicken pieces.
  • Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for two hours- the longer it cooks the thicker, darker, gooier and delicious the chicken gets.
  • Baste every thirty minutes.
  • Reheat covered.

2 packages mozzarella cheese
1 boxes pasta

Steps:

  • Pour half of sauce in bottom of 13x9 casserole hdish. Place cleaned chicken on top of sauce. Place one pack of cheese on top of chicken then cover with rest of sauce. Place rest of cheese on top and cover.
  • Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  • Make desired pasta while cooking. Cover pasta with chicken and sauce, add extra cheese if desired.

1 large onion, chopped
¼ cup butter, cut in small pieces
salt and pepper to taste
bread crumbs, or as needed
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 cup red wine
¾ (12 ounce) bottle ketchup-style chili sauce
½ (10 ounce) jar red currant jelly

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Scatter chopped onion and butter pieces into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Place bread crumbs into a shallow bowl; season chicken with salt and pepper, and press chicken breast halves into crumbs to coat. Place coated chicken breasts atop onion and butter.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until crumbs are browned and chicken juices run clear, about 40 minutes.
  • Mix red wine, chili sauce, and currant jelly in a bowl; pour sauce over chicken. Bake until sauce thickens and glazes onto chicken breasts, about 30 more minutes.
