Green Slime Popcorn Recipe For Halloween

GREEN SLIME POPCORN

Ingredients

5 cups caramel popcorn (from a 10-ounce package), such as Crunch 'n' Munch
5 tablespoons unsalted butter, roughly chopped
One 10-ounce bag mini marshmallows
Yellow food coloring
Green food coloring

Steps:

Lightly crush 2 cups of caramel popcorn and mix with the uncrushed popcorn.
Add the butter and marshmallows to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high until hot and the marshmallows are beginning to melt, 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Stir very well until completely combined.
Add the food coloring to get the desired bright green color (we used 10 drops yellow and 1 drop green) and stir until evenly distributed.
Add the popcorn and stir very well to completely coat.
Serve immediately or place in a small slower cooker on low heat to stay warm.

10 cups popped popcorn
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup butter
1 (16 ounce) package marshmallows
5 drops green food coloring
1/2 cup candy eyeballs

Steps:

Pour popcorn into a large bowl.
Melt brown sugar and butter together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring often. Stir in marshmallows until melted and smooth. Stir in green food coloring until color is evenly distributed. Pour mixture over popcorn and stir until evenly coated. Sprinkle in candy eyeballs.

1 regular bag microwave popcorn
1 1/4 cup white chocolate coating discs
Americolor's Neon Green Food Coloring Gel

Steps:

Place popcorn bag in microwave and while it is popping, place the coating discs in a microwave safe bowl. When popcorn is done, remove it and place chocolate discs in microwave. Melt for one minute, then stir whether it looks like it is melted or not (this keeps it from scorching). Melt it for another 30 seconds, then stir again. If it needs any more time, microwave it in 10 second intervals. Remove and stir until smooth. Add green food coloring gel until you get the color of green you want. Place warm popcorn in large bowl then pour the melted green chocolate over the popcorn and toss gently over and over until you have completely coated the popcorn. Place a sheet of parchment paper on a large baking sheet and pour the chocolate covered popcorn out on the pan. Let cool until the chocolate is firm.

1 gallon green sherbet ice cream
1 block dry ice wrapped in cheesecloth

Steps:

Put green sherbet ice cream and the block of dry ice wrapped in cheesecloth in a large bowl. Pour ginger ale on top creating smoke rising from the punch. Stir until green sherbet ice cream melts and serve.
