Steps:
- Preheat your grill for Medium heat (325-350 degrees F) for two-zone cooking.
- Place the bratwursts on the indirect side of the grill and cook for 15-18 minutes or until the internal temperature of the bratwurst reaches 150-155 degrees F. Turn occasionally to evenly cook the bratwurst.
- Transfer the brats to the direct heat side of the heat and grill for 1-2 minutes to cook the exterior casing.
- Place the buns slit side down on the grill and grill for a few seconds until they are crisp.
- Remove the buns and the bratwursts from the grill. Place a brat in a bun, and top with your preferred toppings (mustard and sauerkraut for me!)

Steps:
- Wrap each piece of bacon tightly around a Johnsonville Bratwurst, tucking in the ends of bacon around the sausage.
- Place each bacon/bratwurst into the Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage Grill.
- Close the Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage Grill. You will know it is closed when you hear the click. (if you don't have a Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage Grill, you can put your bacon/brats on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes or until the bacon is done).
- The Johnsonville Sizzling Sausage Grill will beep four times when the meat is thoroughly cooked. During grilling, the temperature probe will measure the internal temperature of the center sausage link. After it beeps, remove the bacon/brats using a pair of William Sonoma tongs {and it automatically shuts off!}
- Place bacon/brats on the brats buns, and spread the chopped veggies over each one.
- Finally, pour a little of the tomato mix over each brat.

- Slice each brat lengthways, but not all the way through. Then cut a mozzarella cheese string stick in half lengthways, and place it into the brat.
- Wrap two slices of bacon around the whole length of each sausage. Secure each end of bacon with a toothpick.
- Place each brat cut/cheese side down on the grill. Because of the natural curve of the brat, the center will be the hardest to cook, so you may need to press down to get the bacon to crisp up.

- Slice up all the vegetables and place in a 9 x 13 dish. Add beer and butter, and mix to combine. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Place on grill, put the lid down, and cook until vegetables soften. This takes about 20 to 25 minutes, depending on your grill. Adjust cooking time to your own taste. If you like the vegetables with some crispness to them you can reduce cooking time. If you like the vegetables very soft you can increase the cooking time.
- Wrap all your beer brats with bacon. Use toothpicks to secure the bacon at each end. Place on grill and cook until the bacon crisps to your liking. This will take between 5 to 8 minutes for most grills. Adjust cooking time to your own taste.
