Ground Beef Doritos Casserole Recipes

DORITO CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
• In a 12-inch skillet or larger, cook the ground beef until done, drain. Add ⅓ cup water and the taco seasoning, stir and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes then turn off the heat.
• Stir in the black beans, corn, tomatoes and green chiles, cream of chicken soup and the sour cream.
• Spread ½ of the Doritos evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan, top with half of the meat mixture. Top with half of the cheese. Add the remaining meat mixture, evenly spread the remaining Doritos. Top with the remaining cup of cheese.
• Spray a piece of foil with a non-stick cooking spray and cover the casserole.
• Bake for 30 covered. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until chips begin to brown around the edges.

DORITOS CASSEROLE WITH GROUND BEEF

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400F.
• In a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with a dab of butter or margarine.
• Add the diced onions to the pan with the beef while it's cooking.
• Dump the cream cheese, mushroom soup and chili sauce into a large mixing bowl.
• Mix with an electric mixer until fully combined.
• Once the ground beef is fully cooked add the ground beef and onions to the mixing bowl with the cream cheese mixture. Stir well.
• Add the corn and black beans to the bowl. Stir.
• Set aside 1/4 cup of green onions and add the remaining green onions to the mixing bowl.
• Add 2 cups of the shredded cheese to the mixing bowl.
• Add the salt, pepper and garlic powder to the mixing bowl. Stir until all of the ingredients are fully combined.
• Pour the mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish and spread it out evenly.
• Sprinkle the crumbled Doritos on top of the beef mixture.
• Sprinkle the remaining cup of shredded cheese and 1/4 cup of chopped green onions on top of the Doritos.
• Place the dish in the oven and bake the casserole until the cheese on top is completely melted and just starting to brown. 11-13 minutes.
• Serve and enjoy!

GROUND BEEF DORITOS CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• In a large skillet brown ground beef and onions until cooked through. Drain off fat.
• Put back into skillet and sprinkle in packet of taco seasoning and coat ground beef. Add in water and stir until combined. Cook until sauce has thickened. About 3 minutes. Turn off heat.
• Add in salsa, soup, and sour cream and mix until combined.
• Pour in cheddar cheese and stir until melted into beef mixture.
• In a casserole dish lightly crush up 1/3 bag of Doritos. Pour 1/2 of beef mixture on top. Repeat.
• Top with remaining 1/3 of Doritos and colby jack cheese.
• Cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray (this keeps the cheese from sticking). Bake for 25 minutes covered. Remove foil and bake for 20 additional minutes.
