HEALTHMASTER BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE



Healthmaster Breakfast Smoothie image

An easy to prepare breakfast smoothie loaded with vitamins and fiber and low in calories. My husband and I have it every morning and it tides us over until lunch nicely.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 cups cold water
1 apple
2 carrots
1 kiwi
1 frozen banana
2 cups spinach
2 stalks celery
1 large tomatoes
1/2 cucumber
1/2 sweet red pepper

Steps:

  • Add ingredients one or two at a time, beginning with the water, to a HealthMaster or other high powered blender. Blend until smooth. May add two scoops of a protein powder if desired.
  • There is no need to peel or core any of the vegatables, with the exception of the sweet red pepper. I don't even peel the kiwi.

We make this for breakfast daily. It gives us fruit, vegetables, dairy and soy protein. We have shared it with many people and they seem to love it as much as we do. Hope you like it, too.

1 cup pomegranate juice or 1 cup blueberry juice (any deep colored juice)
1 1/2 cups vanilla yogurt
1/2 package extra soft silken tofu or 2 scoops powdered soy protein concentrate
1 1/2 cups frozen berries (we like a mix of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries)
1 1/2 cups raw spinach

Steps:

  • Place ingredients in order of appearance in a blender.
  • Blend on high for 1 minute.
  • Enjoy!
