Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Combine 5 T sugar, oats, and baking powder in a bowl.
  • Add in the wet ingredients.
  • Pour 1/4 C sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon on flat surface.
  • Roll the dough into balls.
  • Roll dough in sugar and cinnamon until coated.
  • Place dough on cookie sheet.
  • Flatten dough.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.

½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup vegetable oil
1 (4 ounce) container applesauce
1 tablespoon vanilla-flavored almond milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup cinnamon-sugar

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl.
  • Beat vegetable oil, applesauce, almond milk, and vanilla extract together in a separate large bowl; add flour mixture and stir until combined.
  • Divide dough into 14 portions and roll into balls. Spread cinnamon-sugar into a wide, shallow bowl. Roll dough balls in the cinnamon-sugar and arrange onto a baking sheet.
