HEAVENLY 'APPLE OF MY THIGH' DESSERT
This dessert is SOOOO easy and delicious!!! All you need is 5 ingredients to make this! Cream cheese mixed with caramel then topped with toffee bar pieces and apples for dipping.. what is there not to love?

Steps:
- Mix together the cream cheese, sugar and 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce in a medium bowl. Spread onto a serving tray or a plate. Drizzle the remaining caramel sauce over the top and sprinkle with pieces of chocolate covered toffee. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, then serve with apple slices.

DAD'S APPLE CRISP
My dad has been making this for me ever since I was a little kid. This recipe is nice because there is not a lot leftover to tempt you for breakfast :)

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine the flour, 1/2 cup brown sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, butter, and oatmeal.
- Refrigerate until cool, about 15 minutes.
- Toss the cubed apples in the lemon juice, then in a combination of 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup white sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon.
- Place the apples in a square or round 9" baking dish.
- Crumble the topping mixture over the apples and bake for 45-60 minutes or until the apple juices are bubbling over the topping.

Simple, old-fashioned apple crisp. If you want something simple and homemade on hand, you can double the filling recipe (I use a 5-pound bag of Granny Smith apples) and freeze half of it.

- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg for filling in a bowl; transfer to the prepared baking dish.
- Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, butter, and cinnamon for topping in a large bowl. Sprinkle on top of filling.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and bubbly, about 1 hour.

- Preheat the oven to 350°. Grease and flour a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix the flour, wheat germ, salt, and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
- Peel, core, and slice the apples into eighths and place in another bowl. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- In a third bowl, beat the eggs until foamy. Add the vegetable oil and 1 3/4 cups of the sugar; beat well. Stir in the vanilla.
- To the egg mixture; alternately add the dry ingredients and the orange juice. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Cover with half the sliced apples.
- In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the cinnamon and sprinkle half over the apples. Cover with the remaining batter.
- Starting at the outside of the pan, neatly place the remaining apple slices in overlapping concentric circles. Sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Put some aluminum foil on the bottom of the oven in case the batter leaks. Bake the cake on the middle rack for 1 1/4 hours, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack before you carefully remove the cake from the pan.
HEAVENLY APPLE CRISP
Unlike most other crisps, this recipe does not add any additional sugar to the fruit, which can often make the crisp too sweet. I find that the natural sugars add enough sweetness to this absolutly delicious recipe.

- Arrange apples in greased 8x8x2 inch square pan.
- Mix topping ingredients until well blended; sprinkle evenly over apples.
- Bake until top is golden brown, and apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
- Let the crisp cool for 10 minutes.
- Serve warm.
