No-Bake Special K Bars image

Don't forget to add no-bake Special K bars to your Holiday cookie platter. Everyone raves about these crunchy treats, and you'll be shocked at how fast they disappear! Plus, they whip up fast and freeze amazingly well.

Ingredients

1 cup Karo syrup
1 cup sugar
5 cups Special K cereal
12 oz chocolate chips
12 oz butterscotch chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 tbsp butter

Steps:

In a large bowl combine Karo syrup and sugar. Heat to a boil and then remove from heat quickly. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Carefully mix in Special K Cereal and then spread into greased 9×13 pan.
In a separate bowl combine butter, 12 oz pkg of chocolate chips, and 12 oz butterscotch chips. Melt, and then spread on top of bars.
Let cool completely before serving.
