Steps:

  • Rim mug with crushed candy canes. Dipping the mug into simple syrup first and then into the candy cane pieces works best.
  • Pour Pinnacle® Original Vodka, DeKuyper® Peppermint Schnapps, and hot chocolate into a mug and stir.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and sprinkle with candy cane pieces or a cherry.

1 (14 ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk
1/2 gallon 2% milk
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 full Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark Chocolate Bars, chopped
Marshmallows (optional)
Peppermint stick (optional)
Whipped Cream (optional)
Peppermint Chips (optional)

Steps:

  • In a crock pot set on low, combine sweetened condensed milk and 2% milk. Stir to incorporate. Add coco powder and chopped peppermint bark. Cook on low, stirring every 20 minutes until peppermint bark is completely melted and incorporated and coco is hot. Cook for a total of 60 - 90 minutes (depending on your crock pot & heat). Once chocolate is melted and liquid is hot, then serve with your favorite garnish!

1 quart milk or 1 quart half-and-half
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate or 6 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
6 ounces peppermint schnapps (more or less to taste)
whipped cream, for serving
6 peppermint stick candy, for serving

Steps:

  • Heat 1 cup of the milk in a medium saucepan over low heat.
  • Add chocolate, stirring constantly, until melted.
  • When the chocolate has melted, increase heat to medium and add the remainder of the milk while whisking rapidly. Do not allow to boil.
  • Serve in small cups fortified with a jigger (1 1/2 ounces) of peppermint schnapps and a dollop of whipped cream.
  • Add a peppermint stick to stir.
  • If transporting in a thermos, heat thermos up with hot water to get it warm for 1 minute. Pour water out and fill with hot chocolate.

1 cup butter, softened
1-1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
3 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup baking cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
ICING:
1 package (1 pound) confectioners' sugar
6 tablespoons shortening
1/4 cup peppermint schnapps
2 to 3 tablespoons water
Food coloring, optional

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Beat in eggs, vanilla and espresso powder. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt; gradually beat into creamed mixture. Divide dough in half., Preheat oven to 350°. Roll each portion of dough to 1/4-in. thickness between 2 sheets of waxed paper. Cut with floured 3-in. snowflake cookie cutters. Place 1 in. apart on ungreased baking sheets., Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. Remove from pans to wire racks to cool completely., For icing, in a large bowl, beat confectioners' sugar, shortening, schnapps and enough water to reach a spreading consistency. If desired, add 4 drops food coloring to the inside a of pastry bag fitted with a small star tip. Decorate cookies as desired. Let stand at room temperature until frosting is dry and firm.
