How to Cook Sprite Chicken Wings image

Number Of Ingredients 6

200-300 grams chicken wings
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup Sprite

Steps:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic powder, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Mix well then marinate for about 2 hours.
  • In a non-stick pan, put the marinated chicken wings then add Sprite. Cover then bring to a boil.
  • When it boils, lower the heat. Mix continuously until all the liquid has been absorbed by the chicken.
  • Remove from heat. Serve and enjoy your Sprite chicken wings!

1 1/2 lbs chicken wings
1 cup soy sauce (I use GF!)
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup Sprite
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 garlic clove, minced

Steps:

  • Cut off tip of wings. Cut remainder of wing in half. Place in deep bowl. Mix all remaining ingredients well, and pour mixture over wings. Marinate for 2-3 hours or overnight. Lay wings out in shallow baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1.5 hours.

  • After searing, add the rest of the sprite (around ¾ cup). Then add ginger, garlic, soy sauce and ketchup.
  • Toss the chicken wings around to coat it evenly with the added seasoning. Simmer in medium heat until the sauce dries up, flipping the chicken wings every now and then to cook it evenly.
