¼ cup butter
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup white sugar
⅓ cup sifted all-purpose flour
2 eggs
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • Melt butter and chocolate in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Remove top of double boiler and stir sugar, flour, eggs, salt, and vanilla extract into chocolate mixture until batter is smooth. Fold walnuts into batter; spread into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Cut brownies while warm.

Steps:

  • Combine butter and sugar in mixing bowl;.
  • blend in honey or corn syrup and vanilla.
  • Add eggs. Combine flour,cocoa and salt.
  • Gradually add to butter/egg mixture. Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into a greased 9x9x1 3/4 inch square pan.
  • Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.

1 (20 ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies (such as Oreo®), crushed

Steps:

  • Melt 10 tablespoons butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Whisk 1 1/4 cup sugar and cocoa powder into the melted butter until dissolved. Remove saucepan from heat; add 2 eggs, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Whisk mixture continuously until the eggs are fully beaten into the mixture. Mix 1/2 cup flour into the mixture; set aside.
  • Beat 1/2 cup butter, 3/4 cup white sugar, and the brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth and creamy. Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish with parchment paper.
