ICE CREAM BAR TRIFLE RECIPE - (4.4/5)

Steps:

• Place the cake and Klondike bar cubes in a large baking dish and freeze until ready to assemble. Gently crush the chocolate-covered pretzels into smaller pieces. (Don't over-crush, otherwise your pretzels will become dust!) Reserve 2 ounces to decorate the top of the trifle. Place 1/3 of the chocolate cake squares into a large trifle dish. Then, place 1/3 of the Klondike bar cubes on top, followed by 1/3 of the crushed chocolate-covered pretzels. Drizzle 1/4 of the caramel sauce over the pretzels and top with a 1/3 of the whipped cream. Repeat this order two more times, finishing with the whipped topping. Add the rest of the caramel sauce and top with the reserved crushed chocolate-covered pretzels. Freeze immediately. Before serving, let the trifle sit at room temperature for 3-4 minutes (so the cake can thaw slightly.)

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE TRIFLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
• Combine brownie mix, eggs, water, and oil in a large bowl; stir until well blended. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.
• Bake in preheated oven until top is dry and edges have started to pull away from the sides of the pan, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Cut into 1-inch squares.
• Beat cream cheese in a large bowl with an electric mixer. Add milk and pudding mix; beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until well incorporated into filling.

• Cut cake into 1/2inch slices crosswise.
• In a small shallow glass bowl of footed compote line the bottom and sides with the slices.
• Sprinkle the cake with the sherry.
• Fill the cake lined bowl with scoops of ice cream.
• Top with the berries, cool whip and almonds.
• Serve immediately.

Steps:

• Arrange 12 of the ice cream sandwiches in the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Spread 1/2 of the whipped topping on top of the sandwiches. Spoon 1/2 of the hot fudge on top of the whipped topping. Place remaining 12 ice cream sandwiches on top of the fudge, spread on the rest of the whipped topping, then finish the layers with the remaining hot fudge. Cover and place in the freezer for 2 hours to set. Let soften at room temperature briefly before cutting into squares.

Steps:

• Pur cream into a small mixing bowl and mix in warmed golden syrup and rum.
• Slice sponge fingers and place in the bottom of two individual serving bowls.
• Pour cream mixture over and cover with sliced fruit.

CANDY BAR BROWNIE TRIFLE

Steps:

• Prepare and bake brownies according to package directions. Cool on a wire rack. Prepare pudding according to package directions. Crush candy bars; set aside. , Cut brownies into 1-in. cubes; place half of the cubes in a 3-qt. trifle bowl or large glass serving bowl; press down lightly. Top with half of the whipped topping, pudding, caramel topping and crushed candy bars; repeat layers. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

Steps:

• In a trifle bowl, layer brownies, vanilla ice cream, and bananas.
• Repeat step with chocolate ice cream.
