INSTANT FRUIT ICE CREAM

Steps:

• With processor pulse frozen berries until chopped fine.
• Add sugar or Splenda while the fruits are processing.
• Add milk or cream and vanilla.
• Process until mixture is of ice cream consistency.
• Serve immediately.

FAST AND FRUITY ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Place the frozen fruit in a food processor with the Greek yogurt, heavy cream and vanilla. Process until smooth. Add the chopped chocolate and pulse until the chocolate pieces have become small bits. Serve immediately in bowls and garnish with shaved dark chocolate over the top.

INSTANT STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Combine all ingredients in the order listed in the Vitamix or Blendtec container.
• Put the lid on.
• Start the speed on low and increase slowly as the fruit gets broken up fully and the mixture starts circulating pretty freely.
• If using the Vitamix, use the tamper while blending to help the mixture circulate.
• If using the Blendtec, stop and scrape sizes as needed or use the Twister jar with lid that has side scrapers built in (and a smaller batch).
• When there are no longer chunks of fruit and it's all smooth, it's done.
• Serve!

REAL FRUIT INSTANT ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on a high speed for 2-3 minutes until a smooth puree has formed.
• Take the lid off the blender and give the mixture a quick stir to make sure there are no lumps.
• Serve immediately, or pour into popsicle moulds or a freezer proof container and freeze.

PASSION-FRUIT ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Whisk together sugar and eggs. Heat cream in a 2 1/2- to 3-quart heavy saucepan over moderate heat until it just reaches a boil, then add hot cream to egg mixture in a slow stream, whisking. Pour custard into saucepan.
• Cook custard over moderately low heat, stirring constantly, until it registers 170°F on an instant-read or candy thermometer (do not let boil). Pour custard through a fine sieve into a clean bowl and cool completely. Stir in passion-fruit pulp, then chill, covered, until cold.
• Freeze custard in ice cream maker. Transfer to an airtight container and put in freezer to harden.
• Available in Latino markets.

SUPER-EASY FRUIT ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Mash or purée the strawberries and mango in two separate bowls. In another bowl, add the lemon juice and the banana and mash.
• Beat the condensed milk and cream in a large bowl with an electric whisk until thick and quite stiff, a bit like clotted cream. Divide the mixture between the three bowls. Fold a fruit purée into each. Transfer each one into a freezer container and freeze until solid.
• Purée the kiwi and sieve out any seeds if you like. Serve a scoop of each ice cream in bowls or sundae dishes and top with the kiwi sauce, sprinkles, or the chopped fruit.

INSTANT STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Place berries in blender. Whisk sugar into cream. With blender going, slowly add cream through opening in lid, stopping to stir the mixture 3 or 4 times so the ice cream is smooth, with small bits of berries.
• Transfer to shallow pan and freeze to a scoopable texture, about 2 hours. Garnish with fresh strawberries, if you like.

FRUIT ICE CREAM

Steps:

• Place the frozen fruit and frozen bananas in a blender or a food processor.
• Then add in the water.
• Blend or process on high speed for a few minutes until the mixture is completely smooth.
• You can enjoy the ice cream as is or you can move the mixture to a freezer safe container (like a loaf pan) and freeze for 2-3 hours to allow the ice cream to firm up if you prefer.
• Then the ice cream is ready to serve and enjoy!
