2 slices rye bread or 2 slices whole wheat bread
1 ounce cream cheese
2 ounces pineapple tidbits or 2 ounces pineapple slices, drained
4 slices deli ham (thin slices)
butter

Steps:

  • Butter one slice of bread and place in cold skillet, butter side down.
  • Spread cream cheese on bread in skillet. Arrange pineapple on cream cheese, using enough to cover. Layer ham slices on top. Top with other slice of bread and butter the outside of that slice.
  • Fry over medium heat until toasted, flip and continue until both sides are toasted and filling is warmed.

My favorite lunch time snack. Not the healthest, but sometimes we need to be bad. If you like cheese this sandwich oooses it!

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 slices whole wheat bread
i can't believe it not butter margarine
3 slices American cheese
2 slices honey-roasted ham

Steps:

  • Heat a small nonstick frying pan to medium.
  • Butter one side of each slice of bread.
  • Place on slice of bread butter side down into the frypan.
  • Layer cheese, ham, cheese, ham,& cheese.
  • Fry for 1 1/2 minutes and check underside to see if bread is golden brown.
  • Flip sandwich if ready, if not leave in pan for no longer than 1 more minute.
  • Remove sandwich from pan and rest on spatula to allow the sandwich to cool without getting soggy.
  • Slice& eat.

3/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 dash cayenne
1 -2 slice honey-roasted ham
2 slices cheese (or to taste)

Steps:

  • Mix together honey, mustard and cayenne, spread on bread.
  • Top with ham, cheese and remaining slice of bread. Enjoy!
