- Pour 2 cups cherry juice into an ice cube tray; freeze 4 hours. Chill 4 rocks glasses. Blend the cherry ice cubes, 1 cup frozen cherries, 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice and 6 ounces whiskey until slushy. Pour into the glasses; top with cola and stir. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
BOOZY CHERRY COLA SLUSHIES
I have swirled many a classic soda-and-cherry slush together in a cup, so I was dying to try it at home. The base of this slushy comes from a can of cherry cola, but it's topped off (and bottomed off) with cherry juice. And there is vodka too! Winning.

Steps:
- Place the cola, juice, vodka and 6 cups ice in a blender and blend until frosty. (I use a wooden spoon to move the ice around a bit so it blends evenly.)
- Add a glug of cherry juice to the bottom of two glasses. Top with the cola slushies, then pour a little more cherry juice over the top. Place a cherry or two on top and serve!

- Take out and set a few ice trays on your counter and pour 12 ounces of coke into your ice cube trays, then put them in the freezer until solid.
- Continue by taking your blender and start putting in the ingredients. Start with the 8 ounces of frozen dark sweet cherries. Add 4 ounces of Jack Daniels, chilled Coke, and Coke ice cubes.
- Put on the lid and use the PULSE mode until the concoction is smooth and mixed completely - or to your preferred consistency.
- Pour the chilled mixture into glasses, garnish with a maraschino cherry and serve to your guests.
