- Take the tuna and squeeze it over the sink handful by handful until the water is pretty much all out of it.
- Mix all the remaining ingredients together and refrigerate.
THE BEST TUNA SALAD
While we love many kinds of tuna salad, this classic version tops them all. The crispy celery and red onion give add zest and crunch, while mayonnaise and touch of mustard marry it all together. The lemon juice is optional as it's not traditional, but we strongly recommend it to brighten up the flavors of the final dish.

Steps:
- In a small mixing bowl break up the tuna with a fork. Toss with the celery, onion and parsley. Add the mayonnaise, mustard and season with pepper, to taste. Stir to combine. Add lemon juice, to taste, if using.
JIMMY JOHNS TUNA SALAD RECIPE
Steps:
- Take a bowl and add the veggies including celery and onion.
- After that in another bowl mix mayo, lemon juice, squeeze of soya sauce, dill pickle, and garlic. Mix them well.
- Pour the mayo mixture into the vegetable bowl and stir finely so that all of them get wet with mayo.
- Now, in the end, add the drained tuna to it. Again give a blend. Refrigerate it at least for half an hour.
- And there you go, your favorite tuna salad is ready. Add the mixture to your serving bowl and enjoy yourself.
- To make it crunchy, you can sprinkle some chips or crunches over it.
- You can increase the quantity of soya sauce as per taste. And also can add pineapples to your salad to magnify its taste.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place penne pasta in pot, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes, until al dente; drain and cool.
- In a large bowl, gently toss the cooked penne, garbanzo beans, artichoke hearts, cherry tomatoes, lemon zest, basil leaves, and Italian salad dressing. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Chill at least 1 hour before serving

- Put desired amount of lettuce in a bowl.
- Add the tomato, artichoke hearts, cucumber,egg if using.
- Distribute tuna over the top.
- Mix together mayonnaise and sesame oil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add 1 to 2 tsp water to thin just a little.
- Pour over salad and top with alfalfa sprouts.
- Enjoy!
- Makes 1 serving.
- Note: my husband also likes a little cottage cheese in this salad too.
- Put on top of tuna.
