Marinara Sauces at the store are often filled with sugar, additives and thickeners, our Low Carb Marinara Sauce has none of those ingredients. But it does have plenty of flavor!

2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 cloves Garlic (finely grated)
2 teaspoons Onion Flakes
2 teaspoons Thyme (finely chopped)
2 teaspoons Oregano (finely chopped)
24 ounces Tomato Puree
2 teaspoons Erythritol
1 tablespoon Red Wine Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper (ground)
2 tablespoons Parsley (finely chopped)

Steps:

  • In a saucepan, place the oil, garlic, onion flakes, thyme and oregano. Saute over medium heat for 3 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Add the tomato puree and stir well.
  • Add the erythritol, pepper, salt and red wine vinegar and bring to a simmer.
  • Turn off the heat and stir through the parsley
  • Cool the sauce and store in an airtight jar in the fridge.

This Low Carb Tomato Sauce is super flavorful, restaurant-quality marinara-style sauce. It's easy to make at home with only a few simple, real-food ingredients!

2 Tablespoons olive oil
6 cloves garlic (sliced)
4 pounds tomatoes (chopped)
1/4 cup water
4 basil leaves
1 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper (optional, to taste)

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over low heat.
  • Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the tomatoes and water, as needed.
  • Let the tomatoes simmer and release their juices for up to 20 minutes, crushing them occasionally with the back of a spoon.
  • Add the basil and balsamic vinegar and cook at least 5-10 more minutes. Finish with salt and pepper, to taste.

  • Place tomatoes and olive oil in a blender; pulse until smooth. Add garlic powder, basil, salt, oregano, and pepper; mix until well combined.
