1/2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme
1 1/2 teaspoons finely grated lemon peel

  • Mix thyme and lemon peel into cranberry sauce and serve.

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 tablespoon butter
2 5- to 6-ounce boneless pork chops
1/3 cup dry white wine
1/3 cup cranberry sauce
3 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme

Steps:

  • Melt butter in heavy medium skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper. Sauté pork until brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer pork to plate. Add wine to same skillet. Bring to simmer, scraping up browned bits in bottom of pan. Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until slightly reduced, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Season sauce to taste with salt and pepper. Return pork and any juices to skillet. Cook until heated through, about 1 minute. Transfer pork to plates. Spoon sauce over and serve.

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1/4 cup Triple Sec or orange juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1-1/2 teaspoons grated lemon zest

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugar, water, Triple Sec and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat until berries pop, about 15 minutes., Remove from the heat; stir in lemon zest. Transfer to a small bowl. Chill until serving.

2 sprigs fresh rosemary
1 pinch salt
1 (12 ounce) bag fresh cranberries

Steps:

  • Boil honey, sugar, lemon juice, water, rosemary and salt in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
  • Add cranberries and simmer until berries burst and sauce thickens, about 8 minutes.
  • Remove rosemary.
  • Chill at least 2 hours before serving.

2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
2 oranges (juiced and zested)
1 lemon (juiced and zested)
2 tablespoons gelatin

Steps:

  • Put washed cranberries into pan with water.
  • Add orange and lemon zest.
  • Simmer 10 minutes until berries soften.
  • Sweeten to taste with sugar.
  • Add gelatin to the orange and lemon juice. Mix together and add to the cranberries.
