Splash of tonic water
1 cucumber spear, for garnish
1 cinnamon stick, for garnish

Steps:

Put ice, Lillet, gin, orange juice, and basil in a cocktail shaker; shake well. Fill a glass with ice; strain mixture into glass. Add tonic water. Garnish with cucumber spear, cinnamon stick, and basil sprigs.

1 teaspoon sugar
Coarse salt
5 medium basil leaves
2 ounces Lillet Blanc
1 ounce vodka
2 tablespoons Simple Syrup for Basil Lillet Slush
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 cup ice cubes
Garnish: basil sprig

Steps:

Mix together sugar and 1 teaspoon salt on a small plate or saucer. Wet the outside rim of a chilled wineglass with water. Holding glass by the stem, rotate rim in sugar-salt mixture to coat.
Puree basil leaves, Lillet Blanc, vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice in a blender until smooth. Pour into prepared glass, and garnish with basil sprig.

Steps:

Add ice, Lillet, and orange juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into 2 glasses filled with ice. Top off each glass with 1-ounce of soda water and garnish with an orange slice.

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
ice cubes if desired
1 cup white Lillet
chilled soda water
2 lemon slices for garnish if desired

Steps:

In a small saucepan combine the sugar and the lemon juice, bring the mixture to a boil, stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and simmer it for 5 minutes. Let the lemon syrup cool completely. In each of 2 glasses filled with the ice stir together 1/2 cup of the Lillet and 1 to 2 tablespoons of the lemon syrup, or to taste, top off the drinks with the soda water, and garnish them with the lemon slices.
