The Malibu Zinger is a fantastic drink created by Paul Brunelle, Edmonton, Canada 10 years ago, and most people who like cocktails say it is the best they've ever had. Great on summer nights, and not at all complicated.i found this listed on drinksmixer.com, wanted to post it here so i wouldnt lose it

1 1/2 ounces malibu coconut rum
1 1/2 ounces peach schnapps
4 ounces pineapple juice
4 ounces cranberry juice
1 teaspoon grenadine
1 ounce whipped cream

Steps:

  • Pour Malibu rum and peach schnapps into a hurricane glass three-quarters filled with ice. Slide down 2 drops of grenadine to the bottom. Add equal parts of pineapple juice and cranberry juice, leaving a little room at the top. Add a dollop of whipped cream, and drizzle grenadine down it. Ask the recipient to stir in the whipped cream before trying.

1 cup raspberry tea, boiled
1/4 teaspoon fresh ginger, peeled and grated
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 ounce mailbu rum

Steps:

  • Boil water and steep raspberry tea with the ginger for 5 minutes. Strain out ginger.
  • Stir in sugar until dissolved, let cool to room temperature then chill for 1/2 an hour.
  • In a tall glass mix tea with mailbou rum; add about 3 ice cubes and a small straw for stirring.
  • *Note: Apparently this likes to layer itself somewhat (rum settled at the bottom) Also, prep. time includes chill time.
