Nothing is better for quenching a tropical thirst than a "batido". This healthy smoothie contains most of my favorite fruits! No matter whether you're dreaming of Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands - this wonderful concoction will have you humming "Kokomo" for days...

- In a blender blend the mango, the papaya, the yogurt, the lime juice, the honey, the almond extract and 1 cup ice cubes in batches until the mixture is smooth and blend in another 1/2 cup ice cubes if desired to thin the smoothie mixture to desired consistency. Divide the mixture among 4 chilled large glasses and garnish each smoothie with a lime slice.

- Cut the papayas in half and remove the seeds. Cut the peel off the halves, roughly chop the peeled papaya and place in the blender. Cut a mango in half around the pit (there’s a large pit down the middle), scoop the flesh out of each half and place in the blender.
